BEST FRIEND

If you have been following me from the start, you know that there is a series that stands out from the rest: BEST FRIEND

I am married to a gentle guy. He is super smart, loving and simply my best friend. Like millions around the  world, he suffers from bipolar, also known as manic depression.

These last three years, the disease has shaped who we are and how we show up in the world. Those of you who can relate, the illness can knock the sufferer and those around him in a tailspin.

This series is like a journal of my life married to someone who has bipolar. I speak through love and friendship where I am almost always looking for his sunny disposition. But there is also a lot of pain and disappointment in my words.

I hope that you find comfort or relief or something in this series. Knowing that at the end of the day, it is a matter of taking on the illness one moment at a time.

Thank you!
